SheGetsITRadio Banner

Welcome to She Gets It From Me ...radio! — a radio show coming soon that celebrates the extraordinary bond between mothers and daughters. Every week, we share insight, heartfelt stories, laughter, life lessons, and honest conversations between women who have shaped each other across generations as well as other special guests.

From cherished traditions and family memories to the wisdom, strength, and sometimes even the quirks that get passed down, this is a show about connection, legacy, and love. Because whether it's your smile, your determination, or your outlook on life, chances are... she gets it from you.

A pre-launch interview with our CEO, Jim Ellis, on RadioDowntown's morning show "Toast & Jam" with JohnK.  A great chat about our upcoming radio show on August 1st and the inspiration behind the show and the new membership community, She Gets It From Me.

calling all mom's and daughters!

Absolutely no training required, just a voice willing to share stories of your relationship with your mom or your daughter.  Memorable moments, your likenesses, your differences, what you've learned and what you'll never forget.

Good times, challenging times, what you've passed along from your household as a kid and what you haven't.

...i'm interested, how does it work?

What Will I Need?: All you really need is a laptop, meeting software like Zoom, Teams, etc., a working internet connection and a willing mom and daughter to share.  A cup of coffee during the discussion is a nice touch.

What Happens During The Show?:  The show is pre-recorded on Thursdays (for Saturday broadcast) and takes about an 45-minutes.  Don't worry if you sneeze, cough, etc. as we edit out all of those kinds of things for our guests and for ourselves as well.

What Will I or We Say?:  We have a list of typical questions that we ask that keeps the discussion on track.  We'll send them to you in advance so you can prepare a little.  Or you can "wing" it.... your call!

Am I On Camera?:  Only while we are recording our discussion as the conversation seems to flow better when we can all see our faces.  But for the radio broadcast, only the audio portion is used.  Your secret is safe with us!

How Do I Sign Up or Find Out More?:  Send us an email to info@SheGetsItFromMe.ca and we'll get back to you right away with answers and the next available slot for you.

By The Way .... RadioDowntown
